Southington: At least one community restaurant has stepped forward to help those holding gift cards at a now-closed restaurant. In tough times, pain is inevitable — but it’s helpful when it’s eased.
Wallingford: A work party is scheduled to beautify the trails the Wallingford Land Trust maintains. It’s volunteer, which is the way such trails, from the Appalachian to the Metacomet, are normally maintained. Hard work, but satisfying.
